i have to read one of your books for a class i’m in (if you can even believe that, this is why higher education is a huge waste of time THIS RIGHT HERE), seriously “Diary” was the first book i’ve put down with no intention of ever picking it back up, just a bunch of inane drivel with a bunch of twists and turns that prematurely untwist and unturn themselves so that it’s just a straight boring piece of garbage, but not to be confused with formulaic because it didn’t even manage to follow a formula of basic storytelling just a bunch of arbitrary paragraphs that paraphrase each other in such a way that the storyline gradually advances more or less accidentally like a literary game of telephone masquerading as a novel, to give you a clue on how much i hated “Diary”, let me just say that i read “i hope they serve beer in hell” in its entirety.
